ChUG Video Policy

Just like other local ukulele clubs, we sometimes record our ChUG meetings and theme nights. We upload a few of these videos to our private Facebook page.
We know that some of our new members might not be comfortable with their performances being shared without their permission. So, the ChUG leaders have put together a policy statement to help us manage the recording of our meetings and theme nights.

ChUG Videography and Photography Policy Statement
Occasionally, in accordance with the practices of other local ukulele clubs, our evening and open mic theme nights may be recorded by the club’s videographer or photographer.
The resulting videos and photographs will subsequently be accessible for viewing on our private Facebook page.
Should you desire to view your performance but prefer that it not be published prior to your explicit consent, kindly inform the ‘on stage’ leader present on the night.
Please refrain from directly approaching the club’s videographer or photographer.
Should you wish to view your performance before its publication, we will provide you with a private link to the video.
Kindly inform us within seven days of your decision regarding publication.
Should we not receive a response within seven days, we will assume your approval for the video to be uploaded to ChUG’s private Facebook page.
